    Up to 300mg of calcium is transferred daily from your bones to breastmilk. Low intake of calcium while breastfeeding may increase bone loss, increasing risk of osteoporosis.

    Breastfeeding mums who eat higher levels of protein in their daily diet, have increased bioavailability of protein & amino acids in their breastmilk.

    Minimal iron is transferred through your breastmilk, however if you are iron deficient, this can influence your ability to establish your milk supply.

    A varied breastfeeding diet, with different flavours exposes your baby to new flavours, reducing fussy eating when starting solids.

  • Reduces Risk of Allergies

    Breastfed babies exposed to common food allergens through breastmilk, have lower rates of food allergies when beginning solids.
