Lactation Boost Berry Oat Bowl

This warming bowl of oats is the best way to supercharge your breakfast to support your energy, concentration, mood & most importantly milk supply! You can it either warmed up for winter or make this recipe the night before and have as an overnight style of oats. 

Oats also have the added benefit of being a traditional galactagogue, which means they can also help to support milk supply. PLUS they are rich in fibre, B vitamins and low GI carbohydrates to feed the good bacteria in your gut and support your energy throughout the day. 

Lactation Boost Berry Oat Bowl

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

3 cups your choice of milk

3 tbsp Maternal Essentials Lactation Boost

1 tbsp flaked almonds

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 cup cut strawberries & raspberries

1 tbsp Sol ghee

Directions

1. In a small saucepan combine oats, Lactation Boost, brown sugar & milk 

2. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer

3. Stir until oats thicken, approx 10mins

4. You can add a little more milk to reach desired consistency

5. Serve hot with sliced fruit, flaked almonds & ghee on top

*for an overnight version, combine all ingredients (except the ghee) in a small bowl until well mixed. Cover and leave in fridge over night. Top with fresh fruit & yoghurt the next morning*
